Batanes Movie Review
http://services.inquirer.net/print/print.php?article_id=105530…
After independent-minded city girl, Pam (played by Iza Calzado), meets small-town boy, Rico (the promising Joem Bascon), she thought she had found her fairy tale-like happy ending.
…
Bascon is a major acting find with a striking screen presence—although he tends to smile his way through his scenes too much.

i am an Ivatan. although ii am in the mainland taking my graduate studies. i watched the movie, and i felt it was going well, until your character was killed. i also liked the Ivatan dialogues. it gave goosebumps hearing my native dialect (spoken by a few thousand people out of billions across the globe). surreal.
great work. great work.
(i made a review in my blog. it was not very friendly, but like i said, Kao’s character’s entrance, for me, was the start of the movie’s downhill trip.)
